Getting support for the Mighty G.e. way back in the day was difficult for the slight five foot five Hagins; "They say that great things happen when yer family and friends get behind you - I hear all these stories about these hip hop rappers whose mama bought em' a studio or a synthesizer (Laughs) ,....well, nobody got behind me,..so nothing happened" - Greenhouse Effect broke up in 1992 as Bassist_Carmody joined the One Handed Readers in the Redondo beach California punk scene and Hagins disappeared into the abyss of the South bay musical wilderness - never to be seen again until via the internet and 2001 as G.e. The only three songs recorded in May of 1990 by the original G.e. line up would feature big sounding guitars, complicated pounding drums, and thumping bass and drummer Clark Hagins sought change and wanted out. G.e. were going far too 'metal' sounding and just a few months after this recording would come the August 1990 song batch that would feature 'America the beautiful" among others From Just Bassist Rick Carmody and Haggans. This song was recorded about just over a year after the Gardena California session that delivered songs like Snake and 'A Current Affair'.
