The Sound of the Greenhouse Effect I can't Quite describe. Crunk !! A Little Bit David Bowie. A little Bit Beatles. A Little bit Queen and ELO. AND A Little Bit Harry_Nilsson, Captain Beefheart, and maybe Captain Beyond ?? Go Figga G !!
It seems this under-appreciated band has risen of late to Great heights all across the internet of cyberspace. Their story may run to some like the bad luck of Rod Evans from Deep Purple infamy to that of the tragedy that was The Great one Harry Nilsson. "Growing up in the South bay of Redondo Beach and Torrance California long ago and growing up on songs like "Without You" by Nilsson ,...and also having the presence of rock intellect to appreciate the Badfinger version but also to be able to digest "Mandy" By Barry Manilow or other "Soft-Rock" songs by the Likes of 10cc and George Harrison,....I really love Soft-1970's-rock,..."Says Clark Hagins "I worked at Cortopassi's Deli down on Avenue i in Redondo ,..and I loved to hear a track or two by Manfred Mann's Earth band, Styx, or the Eagles,...I would wash dishes and we wouldn't listen to like K-Joy or one o' those (Laughs),...it all led up to me writing songs like "Brandy" later on,....I would mix Soft-Rock with hard grunge guitar and I would create this totally unique new sound,....a sound that the music industry would come to steal,...awe,..but everybody knows me now" Says Hagins. Hagins says that listening to led Zeppelin and The Who "Live at Leeds" would also stear him into a harder rock direction as well at the same time.
